How the Reddie Ranters spent their  summer

 This is actually part one of a six seven part series that I am currently drawing.  Currently I have all seven written, five of them drawn, three of them inked, and just these two colored.  As I complete the others I will attach them to the bottom of this comic until I have three on a single page, then I'll start another page with the other three.  Hopefully it won't take me too much longer to finish these, although I am trying out some new techniques so who knows. 

  The first comic involves Brenna. Read her most recent rant if you want to know more about the atrocities she suffered. I also find it interesting that she posed for both of the characters in this comic, something you wouldn't expect from a "I'm not Goth, I just like black and DEATH"-type of person. (she's definitely going to kill me now)

   The second comic focuses on  Bucky's absence from this website.  None of us have seen or heard from him since he disappeared into the abyss that is "living off campus" (and to an arguably greater extent, the abyss of MMORPGs).   Leigh Anne once claimed she saw him lumbering across the Quad like a brain-starved albino zombie, but in the end we decided that the odds greatly favored the event of a pigment-challenged peon of the undead loose on our campus rather than the event of Bucky being exorcised from the demon that is his computer.

 One a side note, this can be considered a "bonus" comic since it wasn't part of the original six I wrote.  The next one in the series will be updated within the next couple of days since I now find myself with a sudden influx of free time before Labor Day.  Since I don't have a journal entry to link "influx" to (its next on my "to do" list) I might as well temporarily explain myself:   I recently was contacted by Pixar for an intern position this semester.  I accepted (duh) and am now in the process of packing for the move to California. I've had to withdraw from my classes which caused me to lose my scholarship and my wonderful single room in the luxurious Sturgis. So while everyone else is having fun at college I'm am stuck living at my parents house counting down the days until I move.  But hey, its all worth it because I am going to work for PIXAR!!!!!  We now return you to your regularly scheduled comic rant.

  The final comic (for this set of 3) shows Jen's lackluster summer.  I really don't have much else to say about it, but if she thinks of something to say I'll let her post it. In 12 hours (Sept 2) I depart for San Francisco to begin my job at Pixar, and since I'm building my new computer when I get out there I don't expect to be able to update this site for a week or too. Luckily, Jen and Leigh Anne are now "Frontpage trained" so they will be updating all the rants while I'm adjusting to the new locale. I hope to get the next three/four comics finished once I get settled but again I have no idea when that will be.  In the mean time, check out the current rants and hopefully I'll be up and running again soon!

  Finally, if you like the comic then VOTE for this site, and remember you can do it every day. The more votes we get, the more likely we'll update more because more people tend to e-mail us demanding new material (oh yea!?!?! well screw you!).  And remember to to check out the new rants too, those are still being updated as well.
