The following paragraph must be held up to the light of truth. I did not write this. As much as Jay tried to emulate my particular speaking style (amazingly successful, yet still having enough of himself that to me it really feels weird) I do not claim the words. They are not mine. The text below this monologue in the vague and incredibly rough form of a drama are most assuredly not mine. If Jay can write about his day with
pictures then I'm going to do the next best thing and write about my day
with words that create pictures! So enjoy this "rant" of my life, and
never again complain about my lack of lengthy rants again. Oh wait, that's
the mick's rants you complain about, never mind. In that case, stop sending
the mick's e-mail to me. And always remember, Brenna is goth. Now
stop reading this and enjoy my imaginary cinematography.
That being said I’ve finally been able to get back into Disgaea. Yahoo for really cool but addictive games. Also glad about that since it means that I have something to do and won’t be spending extra money on getting Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, although I hear that’s really good. Bucky let me borrow some fan subs of the Read or Die TV series, but I’ve only been able to watch one. It seems pretty cool. I miss the Paper though. I’m a big fan of characters. More often than not I end up following something not for the plot (case in point the Read or Die OAV, in which the plot borders on pure lunacy at worst and is simply asinine most of the way through at best, especially for a music major) but for the characters that populate it. That’s what has convinced me to read the Tawny Man series by Robin Hobb. I read the Assassin’s trilogy and grew to really like the main character. Also part of why I’m such a huge Spider-man and Metal Gear fan. Even if I don’t really like the story (as with mgs2) the characters are too much fun. I purchased a new hard drive last weekend and then had a bear of a time getting the whole thing taken care of. Windows XP decided not to like me. A lot of my old software wasn’t compatible with XP, thus not liking me either. I finally got all the stuff I got from the university installed. Then the computer kept trying to boot up on windows 98, my old OS. Other such fun ensued but now I have more space than I’ll ever possible use, so send me things…I guess. Likewise office 2003 has grammar check that is most exceedingly annoying, but I haven’t bothered to turn it off yet. The Super Smash Brothers DX concert has some really cool tracks. And for everyone who has ever played a Mario game you need to check out the Great Medley track. Good stuff. I have to turn in my original short story for English class on the 24th. While I’m pretty proud of the story I managed to write, it unfortunately doesn’t fit the requirements of the assignment exactly, thus meaning I have to go back and add some stuff that really doesn’t fit in my mind. Oh well. I had thought about posting it up here, but there seems to be a small chance that I can get it published, in which case I’m going to go for the latter and tell everyone to go and read it, hopefully purchase, or something. I’m not really sure. People should not have subwoofers in their cars that vibrate my apartment building from the parking lot. It is annoying. I’ve heard some rumors that the Cowboy Bebop movie might be up for an Academy Award this coming year. Go Tech! I imagine that we butcher the Japanese language as much as they do ours on t-shirts and the like. I wonder if any of the goof ups are as funny to them as theirs are to me. Did I mention this grammar check thing is on crack? I’m not sure I was emphatic enough. Crack, heroin, speed, acid, etc. I’ve had people tell me that I should never take speed. I’m going to have to agree with them on this, in spite of how much I like to ignore some of those people. And while I could go on like this I think that gets the point across rather nicely, and in only a couple of minutes. Yahoo for typing class in the third grade. And stuff. Thoughts: Remember kids, _____________ (fill in the blank with non-religious wordage) is evil beyond your measly grasp. Once you realize how little you know life will be better.
