I last left you all with a brief listing of my Christmas break so I'm gonna pick up from there. In a nut shell it goes something like this: school, school, more school, got engaged, school, then finals. Wow, in hindsight it seems i robbed you all by not posting that sooner. I am profoundly sorry. And now with all of that out of the way we get to my summer. I spent the first month and a half of my summer break sweating my lily white hind side off. Why? For the same reason any normal college student would, the all mighty dollar( if that phrase confuses you just ask our local capitalist Paul and he will be glad to explain). I did stock and inventory work for the Winzer corp. in Dallas, Tx. Every day I would wake bright and early, which for the summer time should be considered a crime, and drove to the warehouse. Yes, you heard me right, warehouse. I spent all day in the equivalent of a giant easy bake oven, writing down part numbers, desperately trying to learn Spanish, and moving the previously mentioned parts to their proper locations. All in all it was a very boring job, but the pay was good and I got to spend a lot of time with my Aunt and her family. And that brings me to the present, which is now. I'm now back in Arkadelphia because of a better job (resume wise, not pay) and I keep myself busy. My work schedule is not hard so it leaves me with a lot of free time to catch up on my reading and to study for my GRE test that I take next month. Now that you are caught up with the goings on I will move on to a new topic, the movies. I have seen the following new movies, The Terminal, Spider-Man 2, and King Arthur. The Terminal is yet another fantastic performance for Tom Hanks ( I smell Oscar, again) and over all a well put together movie. If you have the time go see it. Spider-Man 2 left me speechless. WOW! I'm not sure if its just the inner fan boy in me or if it was just that great of a movie but I do know this is fast becoming one of my favorite movies of all time. The last movie on the list is Arthur. If you liked Gladiator, then just go rent Gladiator and pass this one by. This want-to-be epic left a lot to be desired and came off as a cheap comedy rather than a moving story about kings and knights. Well that does it for me, thats all there is and there aint no more.
