Excitate vow e somno, liberi mei.
Cunae non sunt.
Excitate vow e somno, liberi fatali.
Somnus non eat.

Surgite.
Invenite hortum veritatis.

Ardente veritate
Urite mala mundi.
Ardente veritate
Incendite tenebras mundi.

Valete, liberi,
Diebus fatalibus
.

I had what for me was an eventful time this past weekend. By this I simply mean that yes, I managed to escape the monotony of life that is Paris, TX and went to stay at my friend Chad's house in Grapevine. While there I went to see a movie with Chad and a few of my other friends that live in the area. This brings me to the point of this rant and it is quite simply "I hate people". Or to be more precise, I hate stupid people. It still stuns me to see the blatant stupidity and complete disrespect of some people. We went to downtown Ft. Worth to see this movie and no sooner than had we parked we were assaulted by a small horde of religious fanatics. These people seemed intent on telling my friends and I that we were all going to hell if we didn’t take the time to listen to their “world ends tomorrow" speech. While I believe in freedom of speech please don’t harass me while I'm just trying to walk down a street. Later, while my friends and I we're trying to enjoy the movie, the experience was constantly disturbed by countless cell phones ringing and  people who thought that for some reason no one could or cared to hear them talking. Honestly people, if you want to try to expand your social life, the movie theater is not the place, do it somewhere else. Talk in the lobby or after the movie, believe me no one else cares about your input of vacuous dribble while the movie is in progress. The movie, 28 Days Later, is your typical horror zombie film. I wont spoil the plot for those of you who have yet to see it but I will for warn you, it is just like the previews show it to be. Make of that what you will and if you thought The Ring was scary (personally I think of it as more of a comedy what with horses jumping off boats and all) then this movie will most likely suit you. While the movie was to my opinion average at best it would have been much better with out the constant and aneurysm-inducing interruptions.
That being said I would like to say that the rest of the weekend was quite enjoyable. My friends and I spent time as we normally do just hanging out and making jokes at the expense of a very good friend of mine, yet also a very easy target, but as always she took it with (insert very sarcastic tone) a minimum of complaints. While I'm sure that we didn't do anything that city folk consider out of the ordinary, I have come to the realization that it is not so much what you do as who you do it with that matters. So without further adieu here is your deep thought of the day: If an unhappy worker is said to be disgruntled, then is a happy worker just gruntled?

"The Mick" - Who is driving car? Bear is driving car! How can this be?
