HSU Website

My big project for the entire year was to totally redo the entire website for Henderson State University.  I worked with my assistant...er...boss on planning what the the site would look like.  She worked on all the text and navigation (which with 400 pages, that's alot of work) while I worked on the pictures and layout.  As of this posting (July 11th, 2001) the new site is still in the testing process and is not ready for the public's eyes yet.  The planned date for launch is July 20th, so once its up, this page will be updated accordingly.  Until then, alot of fur is going to fly as we have 5 work days to fix every little thing the test people complained about (why are you so picky!).  Until that posting, I'll just put a screen shot of the old webpage so you can see how much has changed.

P.S.  If you want to really confuse someone, set this screenshot as a person's "start-up page" in Internet Explorer. They will keep trying to click on the links not realizing the page is really just one large picture.

NEW: The new HSU website is up.
On each of the main pages I created the layout, the graphics, and the nifty collage at the top.  The only things I didn't do is place the  text  (unless they were apart a image) or link every page to the rest of the website (which is an impossibly hard job I might add, congrats to my assistant...er...boss).   Check out every page to see my multiple collages, and if you are a student at HSU then look for yourself in the pictures. Heck, I might even be in a collage or two.  I took many of the pictures I used in the collages myself, but others I had to invade our school archives to obtain. There are so many other pictures I wish I could have used, some of them I think the public should see.  Unfortunately the laws of design prohibited some of them, while my superiors nixed the rest. Well that's all I can say for now, I do have many more stories to tell but just not enough time to tell them all.
