Since my dorm is being torn down after this year, I am allowed to do whatever I want to my room.  Given this freedom, I went out and bought crates of acrylic paints and went nuts in my room.  At the time my roommate was playing Lunar 2 so I decided to decorate my room in a Lucia motif.  This was the first picture I started and it took me nearly 3 weeks to complete. I found the picture on the back of the strategy guide to the game and just drew it from that. The best thing about cartoon pictures is most of the colors are pretty solid, they don't fade into one another. The piece itself is about 4.5 ft x 3 ft which seemingly took forever to paint. Luckily, since the colors are constant I could get non-artists to help me finish it: both my sister and mother helped paint the red robe while I was at a football game.  Anyways, if you want to see a closer view, click the picture. Unlike my door, once I move out it will be hard to keep this painting since it would require me cutting out the wall.

March 31, 2003 - Woe is the day. I hate to say it but this page is all that remains of the painting, as the wall this painting was on is now a pile of rocks and debris (along with the rest of the building).  While I couldn't save my wall from destruction I was able to save my door...
