Since my dorm is being torn down after this year, I am allowed to do whatever I want to my room.  Given this freedom, I went out and bought crates of acrylic paints and went nuts in my room.  At the time my roommate was playing Lunar 2 so I decided to decorate my room in a Lucia motif.  I drew this onto my door while looking at the audio CD cover which came with the game.   The best thing about cartoon pictures is most of the colors are pretty solid, they don't fade into one another. This makes it fairly easy to paint with acrylics since its basically a paint by numbers.  This was my second painting project after the Wall painting.  Unlike the wall painting, it should be easy for my to keep this paint after I move out since I can just take the door home with me.   

March 31, 2003 -  The building was torn down this past weekend but luckily this door did not go with it. It is now in my room taking up space and confusing people who don't realize there not an extra room behind it. Read about it's rescue on the Today page.
