Painted Quad

This was my first attempt at turning a real picture in a painted one.  Since I'm posting both the original picture and the painted version you can easily tell that I didn't actually paint the one on the right. But to those people whom I only showed my painted version they actually thought I scanned a real painting. In actuality I spent about 3 hours using different techniques to create it. The hardest part was using a small fine brush to create each brush stroke individually. Since the painting has over 3000 brush strokes it took a rather long time to get it looking how I wanted it to. Of course there was much more involved than just making the brush strokes but I'll keep those techniques to myself for now ;)
