Class 2: Body Mechanics
Mentor: Doug Dooley

Doug Dooley's style of teaching was completely
different than my first mentor's style. Doug has a wealth
of animation knowledge which he honed while working at Pixar
beginning with Toy Story 2. He went of his way to teach us new
concepts (even if they were over our heads) and really enforce
ones we had already learned. One of the highlights
of the class was when he went frame by frame through The
Incredibles and critiqued his own work in the same style has he
critiqued ours. I also ran into
Doug at the
AM BBQ and had a wonderful time talking with him. |
